Taneshia Nash Laird is one of the leading African American entrepreneurs in the country, she has worked tirelessly to help raise awareness, catapult capital infusions and assist in the empowerment and employment in underserved areas. Ms. Laird has spoken on many platforms and has spoken about the importance of minority businesses, most importantly women-led businesses (See her TED Talk). Taneshia has served as Executive Director for the Arts Council of Princeton, launching instructional art programs for adults with disabilities. Taneshia has also served as director of Economic Development of Housing Production for the City of Trenton. In this episode of Primetime Entrepreneur, Ms. Laird talks about her beginnings and vision.
